英语一新题型共有三种考察形式分别为：填空式阅读，排序题以及标题内容匹配题。其中标题内容匹配题又有两种考察形式，其中第一种最常见，即在试卷上呈现出完整的段落内容，在段落已知的情况下，为其中五个段落匹配小标题（41-45,5个题干），而在全部段落前给出了A-G七个小标题的选项，故有两个选项为多余的干扰项。但2021年英语一的新题型考察的确实标题内容匹配题的第二种形式，即在试卷上呈现出的段落内容并不完整，全文在段落内挖了5处空（41-45,5个题干），但段落前的小标题已经给出，而给出的补全段落内容的选项依旧为A-G七个选项，因此仍有两个多余的干扰项。
2021年也是首次考察新题型中标题内容匹配题的第二种考法，但同为标题内容匹配题不论是何种形式其考察本质不变，均需掌握段落论点。只不过在2021年的新题型考察中，段落论点已作为标题给出，因此只需在选择与标题表述相匹配的选项，并且确保该项填入文章段落空格处，能与空格前后语句相衔接。这一点又与填空式阅读考察句间衔接的本质一致。因此2021年新题型可以视作是标题内容匹配题与填空式阅读的结合，但主要以标题内容匹配题的解题方法为主，再用填空式阅读的方法辅助或验证解题即可。
确定好解题思路后，就可以按照步骤解题。
第一步: 读文章中心（看第一个小标题前最后一句话即可）读小标题。中心句：Here are a few other ways AI is aiding companies without replacing employees/这里还有一些有关AI帮助公司且不用取代员工的方法。因此本篇新题型的主题是讨论AI可以在哪些方面帮助公司。小标题：Better hiring practices（更好的雇佣措施，对应41题）；More effective marketing（更有效的市场营销策略，对应42题）；Saving customers money（为顾客省钱，对应43题）；Improved accuracy（提升准确性，对应44题）；Protecting and maintaining infrastructure（保护和维护基础设施，对应45题）。因此由小标题可知AI分别在雇佣员工、市场营销、省钱、准确性提升以及保护基础设施这五方面为公司提供帮助。
第二步：用标题匹配选项。因为各小标题均为各对应段落的论点，因此整个段落都在围绕小标题展开论述，故补全段落的选项中肯定有表述与标题重复。首先41题需与标题雇佣员工表述重合因此可以匹配到[B] One accounting firm, EY, uses an AI system that helps review contracts during an audit. This process, along with employees reviewing the contracts, is faster and more accurate. ；[D] You want to predict if something needs attention now and point to where it’s useful for employees to go to. ；[G] AI looks at résumés in greater numbers than humans would be able to, and selects the more promising candidates.；分别提及employee和resume和select candidate与雇佣相关。这时可以看空前空后有无衔接标志能够辅助确定唯一答案，41空前正好就是In addition，表示递进因此41空与前文并列，前面提到Companies are using artificial intelligence to remove some of the unconscious bias from hiring decisions.公司利用AI来移除公司雇佣决定中无意识的偏见，因此只有BG提及AI，但B提到AI审核合同更准确，G则是AI审核简历。故G项与41空前后衔接更紧密。42题去选项中匹配与标题中提及的市场营销策略可以发现只有[C] There are also companies like Acquisio, which analyzes advertising performance across multiple channels like Adwords, Bing and social media and makes adjustments or suggestions about where advertising funds will yield best results.中的advertising performance与之相符，故42填入C项，再用填空式阅读的方法进行验证。C项首行提到There are also companies，去空格前对应发现One company in the UK可与之对应。43题则观察哪个选项与标题所说的省钱相匹配，发现只有[E] Before, they might not insure the ones who felt like a high risk or charge them too much, or they would charge them too little and then it would cost the company money.提及了charge，cost和money。再用填空式阅读的方法进行验证，发现空格前的asses risk与选项的insure，high risk为同义表述，因此可以确认答案。44题则观察哪个选项的表述与标题所提及的提升准确性一致，发现只有[B] One accounting firm, EY, uses an AI system that helps review contracts during an audit. This process along with employees reviewing the contracts, is faster and more accurate.的more accurate与之相符。再用空格前后的衔接验证，发现空格前的smarter decision与选项中的faster and more accurate对应，且空格前的statistics与选项中的contracts 以及audit 对应，因此可以确认答案为B。45题只剩下[A] AI replaces the boring parts of your job. If you’re doing research, you can have AI go out and look for relevant sources and information that otherwise you just wouldn’t have time for.；；[D] You want to predict if something needs attention now and point to where it’s useful for employees to go to. ；[F]We’re also giving our customers better channels versus picking up the phone to accomplish something beyond human scale. 3个选项，虽然没有表述与标题的基础设施直接对应，但是利用空格前后的衔接可以发现空前的prevent failure只能与[D] You want to predict if something needs attention now and point to where it’s useful for employees to go to. 中的预测对应。A项的AI代替人做无聊的工作和F项的提供给顾客更好的渠道均与预防失败无关。
第三步: 快速通读全文，验证答案。因此41-45答案为GCEBD，AF为多余的干扰项。
新题型作为考研英语中技巧性最强的题型，只需抓住它的考察本质，不管样子再怎么变，都可以利用考察本质理清解题思路进行解题。
