时间一点点流逝，距离考研的日子越来越近了，每日长难句，攻破考研难点，今天也要继续努力呀。接下来老师以英语一2019年text2为例带大家一起分析学习其中的长难句。
例句1. Grade inflation—the gradual increase in average GPAs (grade-point averages) over the past few decades—is often considered a product of a consumer era in higher education, in which students are treated like customers to be pleased.
【例句解析】本句为一个复合句，首先句子主干为Grade inflation is often considered a product，其中主语为Grade inflation；谓语动词为is considered被动语态，其中加了一个副词often 用来修饰谓语动词；宾语为a product后边有一个Of短语做后置定语，修饰限定a product，在of短语里，名词为a consumer era，后边跟上in短语做地点状语，再后边有一个介词加which引导的定语从句用来修饰限定 higher education。在主干中有一个双破折号引出来的插入语，用来解释说明Grade inflation，从而使得主干变长。
【例句翻译】分数膨胀—平均GPA（平均学分绩点）在过去数十年间的逐渐攀升—往往被视为高等教育在消费者时代的产物，在这个时代里，学生被看做像消费者一样，需要被取悦。
例句2. Grade forgiveness allows students to retake a course in which they received a low grade, and the most recent grade or the highest grade is the only one that counts in calculating a student’s overall GPA.
【例句解析】本句为并列句，其中第一个句子为Grade forgiveness allows students to retake a course，后边跟上一个介词加which引导的定语从句用来修饰限定course；其中第二个句子主语为the most recent grade or the highest grade,谓语为is，宾语为the only one，后边跟上that引导的定语从句that counts用来修饰限定the only one;最后再跟上in短语做状语。
【例句翻译】成绩宽恕允许学生重修得分低的课程，并且在计算学生整体GPA时，最近的或分数最高的才算数。
例句3. College officials tend to emphasize that the goal of grade forgiveness is less about the grade itself and more about encouraging students to retake courses critical to their degree program and graduation without incurring a big penalty.
【例句解析】本句主干的主语为 College officials，谓语动词为 tend to emphasize,后边跟上一个that引导的宾语从句；在that引导的宾语从句中，主语为the goal of grade forgiveness，谓语动词为is，表语由两个about介词短语充当，其中第一个为about the grade itself ，第二个about短语里包含一个固定短语，encourage sb to do sth(encouraging students to retake courses),在courses后边有一个形容词短语做后置定语用来修饰限定courses；
