观点类作文是四级常考的一种作文，题目往往给出两个对立的观点，然后问你支持哪一种，为什么？这种文章写作的时候往往有一定的思路，即首段表明观点，中段分析原因，尾段总结建议。
以下以一篇范文为例，学习观点类文章写作可以使用的句型。
The issue mentioned in the above paragraph deserves our attention. In view of that, the author argues that we could show some uncertainty when communicating with others. As far as I am concerned, what the author argues is fairly reasonable, and hence I fully agree with the author’s opinion.
Several reasons can explain why I adopt this stance, but only two major ones will be detailed here. To begin with, expressing uncertainty is, in essence, is honesty and integrity, which is widely recognized as a virtue by the general public. A case in point is that, when facing technological difficulties, scientists show their uncertainty and admit their incapability, thereby promoting the advance and development of science and technology. In addition, this quality is conducive to making people admit their weakness, which helps to have the courage to improve themselves. As Confucius once said: “Knowing that you know nothing is the beginning of wisdom.”
Considering the points discussed above, I have every reason to support the author’s opinion. It is advisable for individuals to face their inner opinion and express it bravely. Only in this way can we make our life more colorful and vigorous.
首段：先表明某一观点或者事物值得我们关注，句型为：The issue mentioned in the above paragraph deserves our attention. 其次，表明作者倾向于那种观点，In view of that, the author argues that...,最后表明自己支持作者的观点 As far as I am concerned, what the author argues is fairly reasonable, and hence I fully agree with the author’s opinion.
中段：一般为总分结构，用一个总述句概述原因如下，然后分两点陈述自己的观点，适当举例。Several reasons can explain why I adopt this stance, but only two major ones will be detailed here. To begin with, 原因一/观点一，A case in point is that,... In addition, this quality is conducive to ...For example....适当的举例会让自己的观点更加有说服力，举例时可以以一类人为例，比如科学家，比如老师，也可以以具体的某个名人为例，比如张桂梅、苏炳添、袁隆平等。注意举例要和自己的观点相呼应，才能够论证自己的观点。此外也可以用一些名人名言、谚语来为自己的写作增加文采，比如Knowing that you know nothing is the beginning of wisdom.则是借鉴了《论语》中的“知之为知之，不知为不知，是知也。”这部分需要自己多阅读，多积累，适当背诵和记忆。
尾段，一般再次表达自己的观点。Considering the points discussed above, I have every reason to support the author’s opinion.其次，提出建议，提建议可以用的句型有it is advisable for sb. to do sth/ I suggest doing sth.等。最后可以用一句话结尾表示对未来的期待。Only in this way can we make our life more colorful and vigorous.
