我们都知道在考研英语的试卷中，一共有5种题型。其中有一个大家又爱又恨的题型，就是阅读题。爱它是因为它分值最大，占比40分，做得好了总分就很有保障；恨它是因为很多同学觉得阅读题很难，需要很好的英语基础，否则很容易失分。无论如何，不可否认的是无论要考多少分录取，阅读题都是同学们最想拿下的一道题目。既然如此，我们今天就来简单地讨论一下在阅读六大题型中的同学们比较头疼的一类题——推断题。这一题型的需要同学们理解的内容相对较多，对基础要求较高一些，所以很多同学在做时会感觉无从入手。我们之前也讨论过这类题的基础做法，但由于考研是一种选拔性考试，所以也会有一些难题存在，今天我们就来简单讨论一种对于较灵活的题目的解题方法。我们先来看一道考研试题。
（英二2015年text 2）
（Para. 5）Many first-generation students “struggle to navigate the middle-class culture of higher education, learn the ‘rules of the game,’ and take advantage of college resources,” they write. And this becomes more of a problem when colleges don’t talk about the class advantages and disadvantages of different groups of students. “Because US colleges and universities seldom acknowledge how social class can affect students’ educational experiences, many first-generation students lack insight about why they are struggling and do not understand how students ‘like them’ can improve.”
30. We may infer from the last paragraph that  _______.
[A] universities often reject the culture of the middle-class

对于任何题目来说，我们首先要做的就是去识别它的题型，而推断题惯常用的提问方法有三种，此处是传统提问法，直接问“从某段能推断出什么”，这种提问方法最容易识别。
我们在学习过基础方法后会知道我们不应该整段去读，而是要找解题句，也就是段落论点句，而段落论点常出现地位置是段中转折，段首和段末。我们可以优先去找这些地方。我们发现本段无转折，所以可看首末句。但是末句很明显是引用他人的话，所以很可能是人物观点论据，此时段首句更具备论点句的特征，我们便可以优先看段首句。

用段首句去匹配选项，我们发现AB中有对应内容，此时会优先怀疑AB为正确答案，再回原文去验证，看AB是否全部和原文内容相符。通过对比发现，AB均不符合原文，所以此时定位部分所对应的选项都不是正确答案。这样类型的题就比较难，需要我们再扩大定位范围。但是扩大范围都是有标志提示的，比如本题中第二句开头的”And this…”，指代和并列，这两个都表示本句与上一句联系紧密，证明上一句想表达的内容并未表达完全，需要下一句来补充说明。此时我们就可以利用两句来结合解题。
可用第二句”And this becomes more of a problem when colleges don’t talk about the class advantages and disadvantages of different groups of students.”去对比选项=。我们会发现这句话与D选项是同义表达，所以正确答案为D。
综上可以看出，较难的推断题也会有提示来帮助我们解题，只要掌握了方法，就能在考场上争分夺秒得多拿分。
