entitle [ɪnˈtaɪtl] v. 使有权利；给……命名
这是一个往年试题出现过 7 次的往年常考词。在今天学习的往年试题文章中，它的常用搭配是“be entitled to ”表示“有资格……；有权……”，我们一起看一下例句：
The court, though, may want to allow room for police to cite situations where they are entitled to more freedom.
不过，最高法院可能希望给警察留出空间，让他们援引自己有权享有更多自由的情况。
impressionable [ɪmˈpreʃənəbl] a. 易受影响的
They were impressionable kids during the crash of 2008, when many of their parents lost their jobs or their life savings or both. （2020英二）
在2008年的经济危机中，他们都是易受影响的孩子，当时他们的许多父母失去了工作或毕生积蓄，或者两者兼而有之。

inspire [ɪnˈspaɪər] v. 鼓舞；引起，促成，“引起”这个含义小伙伴们可能并不是那么熟悉，但它在2017年英二中曾出现过：
The Parkrun phenomenon began with a dozen friends and has inspired 400 events in the UK and more abroad.
公园跑现象最初由十几个朋友发起，如今在英国却已引发四百个类似活动，在国外就更多了。
