　　Dear President,
　　I, on behalf of the study committee of our students’ union, am writing this letter to draw your attention to a widespread and severe conduct in our university—the rampancy of being absent from classes, which we found in a recent random check.
　　Admittedly, students are quite occupied with their extra-curriculum activities to better prepare for their future career. They should, nevertheless, be taught to realize academic accumulation should be deemed as the premise of any other agenda for undergraduate students. Thus, I wonder if it is possible for you to carry out potent regulations even some feasible punishment to drag students back to classes and to ask professors to inject more practical as well as exciting elements to attract attendances.
